Remi described his music as the "art of a broken heart" backed up with songs like "In Mai Feelings, Ara, SMH, Ayo, All things being equal" to mention a few.  He hailed from a Muslim and Christian Yoruba family, a major tribe in West Africa, Which in some ways has influenced his spirituality and style in music.
