Steven James Jamie aka VybeGodJay. was born on the 14th of Feb 1997 in the city of Lagos But hails from Benue State. He did his primary education at Maryland Convent Private School, Maryland, Lagos. And then proceeded for his tertiary education at the University of Lagos .in his exact words; “I started music waymarked when I was still a little boy, I was twelve years old. But I went into music professionally last year, which was 2020 I do almost all kinds of music,  from R&B to Hip-Hop, to Trap, Trap-Soul,  Afrobeats – not to be forgotten. I rap and I beatbox”. 

His first ever single was a double track which dropped on the 13th of November, 2020 titled  ‘Addicted’ & ‘Ale’. Under the label D’block Empire.
