Florida Based Hip Hop Artist Q The Key Releases "Cha Cha" Single In Africa

May 2023

Q the Key is an African American Hip Hop Artist born and raised in north Florida. Q the Key is 32 years old and has been doing music since the year 2002. He started off freestyling over instrumentals recording on a computer microphone headset and sound recorder on his Windows computer that was in his house at the time. Growing up mostly in a single-parent household, Q was always looking for new ways to express himself through music. Although finishing high school, his urge to make music caused him to sometimes skip school and hang out with neighborhood friends in the streets which led to trouble in his life. As a kid people expected Q to be what others wanted him to grow up to be but he decided to take his own path. After high school, Q joined the Army to start his life over and served his country for almost six years, staying in other states and deploying overseas. At this point, Q was still making music but didn't have a consistent home base to make music a full-time career. However, this showed the love Q still had for making music. His major influences include OutKast, UGK, Trick Daddy, Tupac, and other Hip Hop artists that came before him to pave the way for his generation. Listening to different genres throughout the years has inspired him to move people with his energy and touching vibes in his music. Q The Key's single Cha Cha is a nice upbeat trap single. He has fused Latin and hip-hop together for a nice marriage. The song makes you want to dance and have a good time while having a few drinks. This is definitely the type of song that will bring out a special kind of emotion in you as the listener. You will definitely have the song on repeat that's for sure.

My music is positive vibes and energetic with influences from hip-hop legends like Outkast, UGK, Trick Daddy, and Tupac.
